Economist/Project Manager
Seeking applicants with a Ph.D. and/or M.A. in economics, and with experience in consulting. Position requires strong skills in microeconomics; quantitative and statistical methods, computer spreadsheets, databases, and stochastic modeling; and exceptional skills of written and oral presentation. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in transportation economics and working with travel-demand models.

Research Assistant
Seeking applicants to assist in the energy practice area, which involves primarily energy conservation program evaluation. Tasks range from conducting in-depth interviews with people involved in the programs, managing large datasets of customer info, and report writing. In some cases, statistical models are used to estimate program effects and are usually done in SAS, Eviews or similar statistical software. Models range from linear regression to fairly sophisticated discrete choice models involving several decision stages.
