AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Sustainability
ECONorthwest analyzes the economic dimensions of sustainable business practices, helping companies and governments make decisions that will reinforce the long-term health of our environment and our economy.
We investigate the benefits and costs of specific sustainable practices, such as green building, low-impact development and sustainable stormwater management, alternative energy development, minimizing the use of toxins, and eliminating the wasteful consumption of energy, water, and other raw materials. We calculate the cost savings of these and other sustainable practices, accounting for the benefits and costs in both the short-run and the long-run.
ECONorthwest brings decades of experience helping clients adapt to shifts in economic and environmental trends, such as climate change, by addressing their sustainability goals and providing them with the most effective options to achieve them.
