Buildable Lands

ECONorthwest has completed buildable-lands analyses for more than 20 local governments in Oregon and Washington. ECONorthwest's clients have ranged from small cities, such as Coburg, Oregon, to large regions, such as the Portland metropolitan area and Pierce County, Washington. ECONorthwest has developed sophisticated methods to ensure accurate and legally defensible land inventories. ECONorthwest's staff has extensive experience with geographic information systems (GIS) analysis, which is fundamental to all its evaluations. In addition to buildable-lands inventories (the supply analysis), ECONorthwest's expertise in real-estate market analysis allows it to conduct rigorous assessments of land needs (the demand analysis), and to combine both types of analyses into a full review of urbanization policy.
