Housing

ECONorthwest's work on housing has focused on residential-market analysis and affordable-housing policy. ECONorthwest helped Envision Utah, a regional planning effort for the Salt Lake area, adjust and support a plan for increasing density in mixed-use centers. A summary of that work became a chapter in a book published by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, entitled Land Market Monitoring for Smart Urban Growth (2001). ECONorthwest has analyzed all aspects of housing policy in the context of downtown redevelopment, nodal and transit-oriented development, greenfield development and sustainable communities, and affordable housing.
