Land Use Planning
ECONorthwest has managed complete, comprehensive planning projects, but specializes in the components of those plans addressing urbanization, growth management, and economic development. In the area of urbanization, ECONorthwest's work covers demographic forecasting, market analysis, GIS-based inventories and analysis of buildable land, urban growth boundaries (technical evaluation and legal findings), and transit-oriented and nodal development. ECONorthwest earned a Certificate of Recognition from the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association for its contribution to the McMinnville Growth Management and Urbanization Plan in 2003.
