Robert Parker
Robert Parker is a Senior Planner with ECONorthwest. Parker specializes in land-use and transportation planning, demographic analysis and forecasting, tourism and recreation, economic impact analysis, natural resource management, survey design and analysis, and computer modeling. Parker manages the U.S. Department of Commercial Economic Development Administration University Center at the UO. Parker's specialty is the nexus between land use planning and economic development. Parker has conducted numerous market analysis and feasibility studies for projects throughout Oregon as well as Goal 9 and 10 studies for more than 20 Oregon cities and counties. He is an Instructor in the Department of Planning, Public Policy, and Management at the University of Oregon, where he teaches core courses in the graduate Community and Regional Planning program and serves as Director for Community Planning Workshop, an applied planning research program.
