ECONorthwest builds and operates local, regional, and national macroeconomic models.

We operate numerous regional and national macroeconomic models that are customized to clients’ needs. These models include models of counties, clusters of counties, states, and clusters of states. We use various types of modeling approaches, depending on the client’s relative need for forecasting accuracy or forecasting detail. We have built specialty models to forecast everything from local business tax revenues to the demand for cheddar cheese products.

Private clients use our macroeconomic modeling services to better understand the relationship between the national regional economy and their growth and profit prospects. Public clients use the models to forecast the demand for public services and the availability of public tax revenues.
